nicest sorority houses...rank 'em!

They're all kept very nice and fun to be in. However, because the sororities are so large now, most members never live in the house. The prestige and history of the oldest houses are like "old money" and are hard to beat. However, if you choose your group based on their house, you will always regret it, no doubt about that.

people will say Kappa because their house is going to be brand new. but I have lived in my house for two years and ABSOLUTELY loved it and I'm not going to say which house because it is VERY true you will regret choosing a sorority based on their house. don't let that be a factor or you will be unhappy.

I understand that you want to choose a sorority and have dreams of living in the house, as does many sorority girls. Choose your home first, then if it works out in your favor, you may get the opportunity to live in the house. I know if you plan on getting plugged into leadership roles and community service opportunities, then it'll be easier for you to live in the house. You have to work for a spot in the house. Because there are so many girls in sororities now days, you have to work hard for it. But its totally worth it.

The AOII house is absolutely gorgeous! It's practically brand new, but it definitely doesn't have the history of some of the other houses on this campus. Kappa also just received renovations and it looks really pretty. In my opinion, all of the houses are gorgeous in some way or another! The U of A is really lucky to have such beautiful sorority homes. That being said, listen to the girls above. Do NOT choose a house based on just the physical house itself. Look beyond that, and you will find your home.
