spring rush for sororities
by: MeganCan anyone tell me what sororities are spring rush this year? Also how to be a part of it? Any advice?

To my knowledge, it's AChiO, DG, and Phi Mu participating in COB. I know personally that we look for a girl with a high GPA and a competitive major.. My sorority is really big on having girls who are active in leadership positions on campus! Go to as many of the COB events as possible and meet as many of the girls as possible. Find the girl who looks like she is most important and introduce yourself, this is the girl who has the end say of who get a bid and who doesn't. The way it works for us when voting for who gets bids is we have a slide show of your pictures during chapter and we stand up one by one making a case for and against individuals (pro,con,con,pro). The more girls you know, the better things they can say about you. Find a common interest, and just be yourself!

@COB CHAIR is most likely from a house in direct competition for members with those houses they listed and not in one of the houses listed.
Their way of drawing attention from their house to these.
So many games.
PNMs best advice I can give is stay off GR, or just come here for entertainment and don't give any credence to anonymous posts.

Technically in most sororities it’s secret, but it’s also 95 percent the same in every house, so it’s not really THAT big of a deal.

We do enjoy a nice long drama over our high school boyfriends.
The meaner to one another the happier we are.

I hope you aren't really cob chair of one of these sororities. If you are then you just shared way too much information and is another classic example of the difference between girls in a top tier and lower tier house.
