spring rush?

spring rush is informal recruitment. instead of having each house, this is more set on a desired sorority you think you want. the sorority will have specific events for set days where you get to meet the girls and hang out and see what you think! very casual and unstructured.

It's opposite of what girls just went through! So much better.

There is no official "spring rush." If a chapter is below Panhellenic Total (kind of like an average size calculation), they are eligible to add members via Continuous Open Bidding (COB).

Most of the eligible chapters will just be 1-3 members below total and will not have any COB events; they might directly extend bids to girls who already have strong ties to the chapter like someone's roommate who already is bff's with a bunch of members. Chapters with more openings may hold a few informal, invitation only events and then extend bids.

Either way, let the Greek Life office know you're interested in spring COB and they will circulate your info to the chapters who are eligible. Because spring is entirely invitation - only (unlike fall formal where all pnms go to every house at least once), you may sign up and never be invited to anything. Just depends on the chapter's eligible and interest level in you.

Are Tri Delta and DG the only ones participating in COB?

Tri Delta is not participating in COB or Spring Rush.

So, did they change their minds on participating? Or is there a different way other than cob and spring rush to give bids after bid day that they are doing instead?

If they aren't doing cob then how are they going to get more members? Is there another option? I am interested in becoming a member.

Whej membership numbers are low you do not have a choice of whether you want to participate or not. How you choose to participate is an option however, some houses like to be more secretive about it than others.

Tri Delta is not low on numbers, they made quota and they are not participating in Spring Rush. It is EXTREMELY obvious that their weirdly a number of girls who are on Greek Rank trying to pull Tri Delt down with their constant posts and "liking" of negative posts. Obvious jealous or mad they were cut. Or trying to make their sorority look better. Give it up.
