I have 2 friends who pledged AXO last year. Both had great rushes. One had 3 houses at sisterhood; another, had 5. Pref day they both had 1 - AXO. Impressive resumes, grades and recs - these are impressive women.

They both pledged AXO. Honestly, they were apprehensive at first. But now they both love it. They loved it after only a few days and consider it their home. They are trying to turn this group around and give them a great reputation on this campus. Are there some girls who are a little odd? Yes. Are there some incredible women who are fun, smart and ready to take this group to the next level? YES,YES,YES.

Please give them a chance! My friends are great so I know their sisters are too!

agree with the previous poster, there are some great girls in AXO who could have easily ended up in what others call "TOP" houses. you can not go wrong here at UA because it is so competitive. Girls who were at what people consider the top houses at sisterhood are at AXO the next day. They would not have made it that far at those houses if they did not have so much to offer. You will find your friends. Don't hold on to wanting to be sisters with girls who picked other girls before you.

update: I ended up going to AXO pref but it just wasn't for me so I dropped. Not sure what I'm going to do now, but maybe greek life isn't for me. Will try to get involved in other clubs.
