what happened?
by: Sad pnmI got dropped by all three top houses. I think I'm cute, dress nice, high gpa, lots of involvement, recs. Thought I had great convo at all the houses and even got introduced to the president at one. Almost no one in my group got all three back. Do you think I could have been judged by my group? My best friend got cut by kappa and ChiO but had PiPhi and said there were lots of girls that had all three left. Obviously I can't ask my gamma chi this.

Very few girls have a perfect rush. You only need one group. You want to be in a group that WANTS you.
I'm sure you are a great girl. Of the 1700 PNMs, there are probably 1600 great girls with the same great qualifications and characteristics as you. Keep an open mind. You can not go wrong with any group here.

Groups that have historically high retention rates, are required by Panhellenic to cut so many girls so that they have a chance to filter down to the groups who have lower retention rates. You would much rather be cut now so you can focus on other groups than strung along and cut groups that were really interested in having you as a member.
It is easy to cut the first round by GPA and lack of recs.
