equal pledge classes
by: Worried pnmI heard top houses only take 100 girls and AXO has to take everyone left so they can say everyone gets a bid. That could be over 300 girls! How is this fair? If I cut AXO will they still offer me a bid even if I cut them earlier in the week?

not everyone will get bids. AXO will only take around 160. Also, you cannot technically "cut" any sorority from your schedule. You can only rank them. So even if you rank a house last, if the other "top" houses did not invite you back, your bottom houses will be back on your schedule in order to give you a full schedule. ALSO: Recruitment hasn't even started yet so there is NO WAY you even know who your "favorites" are. Don't listen to others or even the bs posted on this site. Base your decisions on your own experiences and conversations in the house! Greek life at the U of A is AMAZING no matter what letters you wear!

Maybe don't believe everything you hear. No one says "everyone gets a bid", because that isn't true. Also, AXO is a sisterhood just like any other. They don't "have" to take anyone they don't want. If that were true, why would they even bother participating in recruitment at all if they were just going to be forced to take a bunch of girls at the end anyway?

Sorry I didn't mean it like that. It just seems if every house took an equal number it would make top houses less exclusive and bottom houses more desirable. Just trying to understand.
