should i rush if i'm not thin?

Please be honest. I'm nowhere near thin/skinny or even chubby. I have a lot of weight to lose. Do I even stand a chance at getting a bid from anyone?

ChiO and Kappa will cut you day one but I had AChiO PhiMu and ADPi toward the end of the week. Went to two for pref and found my forever home!

That's bs about chi o and kappa, no one is going to cut you based on your weight!! It's just about your personality and who you know!

Unfortunately with any large group there are people who judge people by their weight. My house cut someone last year for shaming one of our members about her appearance. I do feel like times are changing and houses are standing up to girls who take part in this type of thing.

You should rush, but if we are being honest people will cut you for your weight. However, if you are a good conversationalist you will still get a bid...it just may not be your top pick. Don't let this discourage you tho!

HOnestly, Kappa, PiPhi, ChiO and Tri Delt are going to cut massive amounts of girls the first day. They are the largest groups and took the smallest pledges classes last year. Panhellenic makes them cut literally hundreds of girls the first day.

Your weight will most likely have nothing to do with it.

Don't put yourself down. It's your time to shine.

You absolutely should! Fun experience, you will meet new friends in your rush group and on your hall. Hopefully, you will pledge, but don't have regrets.
