resume
by: pnmdo the sororities use your recruitment registration we filled out online to "study" us before actual recruitment? and do they use that submission we made online for the rest of recruitment week to sort of categorize us?

There is some truth in what both "no" and "truth" said. Groups that Panhellenic has already told they will have to cut 800-1,000 the first round, already have a list of a few hundred girls they are looking closely at. These lists are based on PNMs who are known to the chapter either by actives or by alumnae. Does that mean if you don't know someone you are out of the running? Not necessarily. An alum coordinator might have seen your rec and unbeknownst you loves your rec writer and gives a big push for you. PNMs might not have our chapter in mind so that frees up a spot. You could make a great impression the first day and the person you talked to is your champion.
So many factors, but most of the time your resume is a great base for us to figure out who you are and who you want to be.

Yes, they are looked at. Studied might not be the right word. But, if you are already being considered, the person who is meeting you at the door will already have in mind what they are going to talk to you about based on your resume which tells us what your interests are.

don't let that comment scare you. Ya we look at them.
but we don't look at just your resume/packet and go yes bid
and unless your resume is just very lackluster it probably won't be the reason you get cut
It is taken into consideration before we meet you. along with social media, recs, legacies, and what we know about you through members and friends. Then of course the convo we have with you.
