It does happen and sometimes for no reason. A girl in my rush group had only one house after the 2nd round. She seemed like a great girl. She kept that house the entire time and received a bid. I won't say which house, but it is one that is always considered a stronger house. Who knows what happened? Another girl had a full card most of the week and got one invite on pref day to the group she was least interested in. She made the best of it and now LOVES it. Be open-minded and just keep plugging. AGD is also coming on so that is an option also.
