is it better to have rec letters from women that graduated from U Ark ?

Having a rec letter from someone that attended Arkansas looks good, but it's not going to give you some huge advantage over everyone else like you might think. Try to get at least one rec letter for each sorority, but the more the merrier! Also remember that just because you have rec letter (or 10) doesn't mean they won't cut you. Go in with a big smile and great attitude!!!!!! #gogreek

try to get rec letters for as many sororities as possible. If you're able to get a really good personal rec letter from an alumnus (alumnae? alumna?) of that sorority, even better! If you're able to get a really good personal rec letter from an alum who is ALSO a member of that specific chapter, that is the best! But any rec letter is better than no rec letter. Remember that you can have 50 personalized rec letters from UofA sorority members, but YOUR conversations with the girls are the most important thing of all!
