how "southern" is uark?

How "southern" is uark? Should I get the books about how things "work" in the south and recruitment coaching? Should I buy Lilly?

Arkansas gives you tee shirts to wear every day except pref day so there is no need to make some big investment in a bunch of clothes. Nice shorts are fine for every day except pref when you wear a nice dress - not prom or homecoming fancy, but more church or nice party. I would not wear Nike shorts but anything else is probably fine.

You probably don't need recruitment coaching unless you are super shy. You will need recs for every chapter.
