who can write recs?

Do recs have to be from alumni of this chapter? Or can be be from alumni of any chapter? Can be from actives of chapters NOT at the U of A?

Recs can come from any alumni member in good standing of the sorority. Most organizations require that they be an alum, but some do accept current active members. They do NOT have to be alums of the Arkansas chapter.

Ask your teachers, your mom's and dad's friends and co-workers. One of my pledge sisters got recs from 3 different groups from women her dad worked with.

If you can find people who know you or your family personally, try and find a local Panhellenic group.

Just make sure you get them. Some people like to say they are not required or the sorority will get them for you. They almost certainly will not.
