Is it ok for a PNM to follow some sorority's Instagrams? Will this have a good or bad effect on the outcome of your recruitment?

If you get a follow back from them, does that mean anything? What if I don't get a follow back? I noticed some of the sorority instagrams do follow some PNMs but not others. Does this mean they aren't interested?

I saw the Arkansas Chi Omega page follow someone coming next year from my town first and I checked to see if she followed them back and she didn't. But then I see how other PNMs follow the page and they don't follow them back. Please explain
