rush grade cuts
by: SamWhat is the min GPA required during rush to not be cut first round for the following houses: Kappa, Delta Delta Delta, Pi Phi, Chi O, and Zeta?

I went through rush and was cut because of grades. A friend that's a in house member called me tell me I had been cut . They told me what to do and and say to Greek life so I'd be able to go back. Did that and got to go back to that house and got a bid. You can work around not having the greatest grades. A person in house during rush to talk to and let you know what's going on helps a lot. DDD

Excuse the various typos on the above comment. I had a GPA high enough for rush but it was lower than certain houses prefer you to have. I had close to a 3.2GPA

How did you fix it? Did you have to skip a round of parties or did your friend get it fixed in time? Do you have a contact person you talk to during rush inside every house ? How does that work?

So did you get cut and then un-cut, how does that even work. You aren't even supposed to be talking to actives during recruitment. I'm curious how this worked

Chi O Pi Phi and Kappa cut at 3.4 for nonlegacies no matter how good your recs and high school activities were! Just knowing a member in house won't save you unless she's rush chair! We all have friends we want to pull through! Enough to fill many pledge classes! That's why you have to keep an open mind!
