how to fit in at arkansas
by: hiI'm thinking about coming here next year and rushing. What are sorority girls here like? How can I fit in? Do you have to be pretty to be in a sorority here? What does it take? Are there very many girls of color?

U of A has a number of sororities to choose from, each with their own values and traditions. I strongly encourage you to go through recruitment! You don't have to be a supermodel with a 4.0--just be yourself and I'm sure you'll find your forever home. Most sororities on campus are proud to be diverse and are welcoming to women from all backgrounds.

It sounds cheesy but be yourself. Emphasize what you love to do by getting involved and meeting people of all backgrounds and you will find that you can fit in where you belong. Recruitment is a time to find out where you may want to volunteer, live, and work and with whom you'd like to do these things with. It's all about the girls and the philanthropy IMO.
