pref night. how many houses?
by: CurioushogDid anyone only have one sorority on pref night? I feel like having only one would make me nervous because what if you are not high enough on their bid list? Does that mean you are left without a bid?

If you have one invitation for pref and you list that house on your pref card, then you would be guaranteed a bid to that house. If their bid list was full by the time your name came up, you would be added to their bid list as a quota addition. (You & the chapter would not know that you were a quota addition, FYI).

Thank you so much for clarifying! I was just wondering since that would be a case where one would maximize their options. Is it common to have one house? Or do most girls have two on pref?
