This is the same for all top tier houses.

This is silly. Be yourself!! At this point your gpa is what it is, your high school involvement is what it is... and to be honest most everyone has similar involvement/grades/volunteering. What makes you stand out is your personality. My advice is to be confident in YOURSELF, your personality, and your own interests. There is not one specific personality type in each house.

Please don't go jnto rush with a "ChiO or die" attitude. ChiO is getting to cut over 90% of the PNMs rushing so chances are low for anyone, especially with no legacy and few connections.
Keep an open mind.
There isn't one "type" of personality in the house. Be yourself. If you "click" with the girls who rush you, that's great. But trust me, you don't want to fake a personality that isn't the real you because both you and the chapter will be frustrated and disappointed if you somehow end up faking your way in. What do you plan to do, live a lie for 4 years? Be someone you aren't? Do you really think you'll make close, supportive friends this way?
