how many girls get bids and where?

Depends on how many girls the chapter needs to make quota. Chapters like AXO/PM take 150+ girls, while XO/KKG probably take around 100 or less. I believe a chapter cannot have more than 400 active members, so the amount they take during recruitment is based on that.

The above poster has the right idea but isn't quire accurate. Greek life will set a chapter total during recruitment based on the number of girls rushing. Some chapters will be closer to that number than others. But if I'm correct roughly 90% of girls who go through recruitment will receive a bid.
For example: If they set chapter total at 450, and KKG currently has 340 active members during recruitment they will extend 110 bids. But if AOII has 300 members, they will extend 150 bids.
The reason why they don't have a set quota across the board (ex. quota is 130 for all chapters) is because the total number of members in each chapter varies greatly. Ex. KKG, Chi O, and Pi Phi traditionally have a larger chapter total than Alpha Chi or Phi Mu during recruitment. This allows every chapter to have an equal chance to achieve campus chapter total which is crucial with the new DG colonization this fall.
