Top Houses: Chi O - Kappa - Pi Phi
Why: These houses are established and are the most selective. Chi O was founded at the U of A and won homecoming this year. Kappa has the highest GPA on campus. Pi Phi has won Greek Sing the past four years and homecoming queen the past two.
Upper Middle Houses: Tri Delt - Zeta
Why: These houses are fairly selective and can make a lot of cuts. Both have houses and are well known on campus. They also both have super big philanthropies and do well with their GPAs. Tri Delt has won many competitions on campus to raise money for their philanthropy, St. Jude. Zeta has an annual kissing booth event for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Middle Houses: KD - AOII
Why: KD is normally in the top 5 in GPAs, and even though they have less of a reputation on campus, they do well and have a fun philanthropy. AOII has a good reputation (CFF lol) and even though their GPA isn't the highest, they are popular on campus and have a large, beautiful house.
Growing Houses: Phi Mu - ADPi - AXO
Why: Phi Mu is the fastest growing sorority in this tier and has made great strides, however, they will not have a house for a number of years and are not as selective yet. ADPi has a great sisterhood and has a very cute house, but they are not as well-recognized on campus and have a lower GPA. AXO is still newer on campus, but have been going better in rush and have been building a good reputation on campus, despite having a lower GPA.

^^this is so accurate. Wish I would have known this earlier (out of state) bc on the first day when I got cut by a "top house" it was a huge shock and I was like "what did I do wrong?" But now, knowing that MOST girls get cut by them, I feel a lot better about my recruitment. Tri Delt also got 1st in Derby Days last year... just a fun fact.

Love your ranking. Very accurate. I like that you acknowledged some of the houses as growing rather than bottom. Kinda hard to label a house bottom solely off the fact that they're new versus continuously doing bad every year and has been here for a good amount of time.

Can we delete every other post on here and only have this one? This is the best description of each of the sororities at the U of A. If you're a PNM you should really just get off this site but if you insist on knowing things about the sororities, this is all you should care to read.
