There are nice girls in the house for sure, but it’s too bad they are so overcome by the reputations and actions of the mean ones. The Kappas on my floor in Reid were all known as the mean ones and super cliquey - didn’t hang out with anyone who wasn’t a kkg. They were very intimidating and acted like no one else existed. Some girls are drawn to that and want to be a part of that type of group and that’s great. Just know what you’re signing up for. It can be hard if you’re not considered part of the popular party girl cliques in the house.

Can be a bit cliquey but it just depends who you meet. Sorority is everything to them. Cool/classy girls tho

This is arguably one of the best houses at arkansas, the girls are pretty, the grades are high, and you need connections. Love this house and the girls in it

Kappas aren’t what they used to be. Once known as the “good girls” they’ve been overtaken by wild, drunken, party girls who sleep around. They keep their standards board very busy. One of my best friends was a legacy and thought going kappa was a no brainer but has been so disappointed and even considered dropping out. She said the house is so cliquey and girls are flat out mean if you aren’t high enough on the social fraternity house ladder. You can’t walk into a frat house on a Saturday night and not see kappa after kappa drunk or passed out or booking up with a guy. It’s like that’s encouraged to be popular in the social ranking of the house. They no longer even care about being top in grades but try so hard on here to make the pi Phis (who took their place) as boring and uninvolved in an attempt to take down their rival before recruitment. That’s who these girls are.

one of my first experiences with a kappa was before she was even a kappa. it was rush week and we stood outside of a house and this girl nearly threw a fit about how she “didn’t belong here” and was extremely rude about that house. imagine how that made the girls waiting outside feel who actually may have wanted to get a bid from that house? i also just don’t see them doing much on campus and have zero clue about their philanthropy.

This chapter is filled with some of the most hateful and judgmental girls on campus. Almost every kappa ik has had issues making genuine friends and a few have even dropped because their own sisters bullied them. I wish people understood how horrible this chapter is regardless of their “rank”. if you ever meet a kappa I could almost guarantee they will stare you up and down with the most disgusting look on their face and then gossip about u right in front of ur face. I dread seeing them when I go out because they bring such a negative vibe everywhere they go. be aware pnms!
