spring recruitment was a joke
by: GDII rushed three houses for spring, and I will say their names because they are all mean girls, KD (rude) KKG (stuck up) and SK (weird). The first house I talked to KD, literally didn't seem interested I tried talking to their girls and they said "well we aren't doing open recruitment, but you can also email us", I emailed them and never got a response. KKG, the girls seemed really nice but then I tried reaching out and they also never got back to me, and then SK, who at first seemed really cool but then I starting to talk to them even more and they seemed very off, they didn't really strike me as genuine. From my experience,for spring recruitment, the houses already know who they want to pick and it's really annoying when you guys get girls hopes up and then turn out to actually be the stereotypical mean girls. I'm so glad I didn't get into any house and I advise anyone looking to get into a house to just stop, it's not worth the time or energy. These houses already know who they're picking so don't even bother

Hey girl, don't even worry about spring recruitment or those houses. They probably weren't even for you. Spring recruitment is very informal and a lot of it, unfortunately, is with girls getting their friends in their houses. Spring bid day sucks anyway!!!! I suggest doing formal recruitment in the spring and staying off this site. You'll find a house for you, I'm sure of it!! <3

After reading this, can't say I don't blame them, you sound like such a joy to be around...
There were two other houses you could have rushed. Just because you didn't fit into a few houses you read about on GR doesn't mean spring recruitment is this horrible thing. You should rememeber that you are not entitled to a bid from any house you want, it is a mutual (keyword) selection process. Perhaps you can try rushing one of the other 9 houses in the fall to find a better fit for you.

My friend in one of those chapters told me girls are were reaching out after their bid day asking about spring recruitment so I do agree with the other post. I think if you didn't keep up with things and weren't on top of it since spring recruitment is very informal then you may have just slipped through the cracks

Yes, I would agree with you, this Spring Recruitment did suck. The sororities are NOT what they tell everyone. In short, it was all smoke and mirrors.
