curious
by: JustanoutsideperspectiveMy friend who goes to Florida state told me something I found very interesting and just wanted to see what everyones thoughts are. As far as sororities, your intentions are being in a top house, look at everything and join the house that's set to rise, not the current "hot house". It actually makes sense in my mind because, we can all see this year is the year of the shifting dynamics, and no one can tell me it's not, the top houses didn't have great pledge classes and their older girls who are graduating are going to cycle out and they will be left with average looking girls. Now Florida State has a much bigger Greek life than ASU so when she told me I didn't give it much thought but after looking at the ranking on this site, whether it's valid or not and we all know some of it is, it seems to be the truth. The only thing that will save the top houses in fall recruitment are their names.

I've actually seen a few comments in other threads about this, but you're completely right. Right now a lot of sororities are taking in different types of women and a lot of houses are pretty equal in terms of looks. Honestly, ADPi isn't even that bad looking anymore.
I'm glad things are turning out this way. Sororities are much more "leveled" than greekrank makes them out to be. Hopefully next year houses will get good mixes of girls as well. There might be a clear top house but everything else is a blur from there tbh

So you would join a chapter not because you like the women or what they stand for you'd join because you think they might become top tier after you join?! Good luck with that. Makes no sense.
Join the chapter you have a connection with. The best house is the one you like the best.
