For all of those who think sororities can do things with unrecognized fraternities, please check your facts. Sororities cannot because this is against their national organization rules and NPC rules.
As for fraternities that think they can go off campus and maintain your national support. Good luck.
And for the record, Sig Ep's suspension is coming from the national office not ASU.

There are schools where nationals have supported their off campus chapters for decades. If a chapter is strong, and the nationals is understanding (some are), they will support the chapter. And people in greek life never break rules? lol. In my home state plenty of sororities do events with off campus frats. And off campus fraternities still party with tons of sorority girls now.

Actually, a sorority's national organization cares whether the fraternity is recognized by a national organization and the NIC, and insured, because that is what ultimately matters.
Three fraternities (very good ones at that) have been off campus, maintained national support, and are doing perfectly fine.
