junior joining a sorority

Sigma kappa will probably give you a bid but honestly from just seeing how they are and having friends in it, I would recommend rushing another house for spring. None of the sigma kappa girls really take that sorority seriously. They are just drink and don't take their participation in Greek life seriously. Chi O is definitely a better house to rush for. They're very involved in Greek life.

They're lower tier so your chances are better than a top house. Your best bet is probably with KD though, they have the most spots to fill. I know AGD and ADPI have also taken juniors but.. yeah.

did spring recruitment last year. kappa, chi o, agd, sk, and ADPi have openly done spring recruitment. kappa, xo, and AGD took a few girls (not a LOT, a FEW). SK was very desperate for girls last spring - they sent me like three emails and called me multiple times. ADPi got a REALLY small PC this year so I could see them trying to recruit more in the spring.

I really liked AGD and Chi O. They take juniors too. Reach out to them!

sigma kappa got a lot of great girls this year. they might give you a bid. they do rush on values but looks matter too. if you got both, then great! they might've reached quota though...?

they both have different vibes. when i rushed, sigma was genuine, fun, and super sweet. for chi - o when i came in their room, they were nice, had the "wifey" material/classy vibe. go with which of those characteristics u want. i'm not in either house but that's how i felt

I'm rushing sigma kappa over chi-o this spring! only cause chi-o was way too innocent and didn't seem like partiers at all. i have seen sigmas at parties and like to have fun. my friends in sigma really focus on getting involved on campus and doing lots of leadership too whatever works for u though
