do fraternities give out the same amount of bids in the spring as they do in the fall? Or do less fraternities participate in spring rush

All fraternities participate in spring rush, however spring pledge classes are usually smaller than they were in the fall. For example, typical top tier house may have ~30-40 fall pledges, but ~15-20 spring pledges to begin pledgeship and that would be normal.
