Is there rush spring term? If so, how active is it? I'm looking to rush a fraternity once I'm able to transfer, which will be in spring due to some unforeseen circumstances

First you should know that IFC has switched to continuous/365 bidding. So you can technically be bidded at any point in the year and then pledge the semester that most closely allows you. In regards to spring rush, we do do that, it is always generally smaller than fall. In my opinion I think spring rush is better than fall due to less guys so you can more quality time meeting the guys instead of in fall when there are usually a crazy amount of guys coming through. Also, I've noticed that the spring pledges have a closer bond with a smaller group than in fall.

every house has spring pledge classes, they are probably about half the size on average or a little less than fall pledge classes.

This dude is transferring in the spring. No reason he should wait an extra semester to pledge and shorten his (already shorter) fraternity experience.
