houses on probation
by: PMNI read on here about some houses on probation. Which houses are they and what exactly does that mean? And is it better to go for a house not on probation then?

All I know is the sorority side.
Sororities are very good about keeping their probation low key, but the only one that is really known is the DZ probation. They are on social probation, probably because of an alcohol related incident at an event. since the events are at ASU and on school property, they get in a lot of trouble for it. i believe that most probations only last a semester.
DO NOT let a house being on probation effect you going for it. dont let it effect your view of the house.
ALL HOUSES HAVE BEEN ON PROBATION AT ONE POINT. it doesnt take much to get on probation, and theres a chance that the semester after you rush, even if you choose a top house, it could be on probation for a number of things.
it really doesnt effect much and some members do not even know that they are on probation. hope this helps.
