rush process

I'm an incoming freshman planning on rushing a fraternity, but I'm from Ark where everyone goes to an SEC school and where rush is a more intense process. Rush usually starts in the spring of your senior year and you're already with a frat before school starts up in the fall. So I'm just trying to get an idea of how different it'll be in Tempe and make sure I'm not already late.
