I really want to join a fraternity, but it's already a struggle for my family and I just to pay the tuition. How much are dues over the course of a year normally?

but if its a struggle for you and your faimly to pay tuition why would you rush a fraternity??? lol its a pretty big investment and money issues is the last thing you wanna be worrying about during your pledge semester trust me.

Because there are a lot of benefits to being in a fraternity that I want to take advantage of. Thankfully, I got some scholarship money to make it a little bit easier, so I was just curious as to how much it would probably cost to see if I can afford it.

Your first year might be around $2,000 due to pledge semester being around $300 extra and extra money you spend while pledging on various tasks. I'd say probably around 1500 a year afterwards.
