rush/pledge/initiation costs

My parents are totally against greek life, but I'm planning on joining regardless. Since I'll have to foot the bill, can anyone give me a rough ballpark on how much rushing, pledging and initiation cost at ASU on average?
I know at some schools costs are minimal for rushing and pledging, while others have costs for all three, and at some southern schools it's like 100+ to rush, 1.5k to pledge and then like 4k a year once your initiated. Thanks!

We don't have Greek housing here so don't even think about the 4k cause that would go into housing. An average fraternity dues are around 700-800 per active member. Since you'll be joining you would have to pay an extra 200-300 for initiation an pledging fees. You should roughlt be saving up about 1000-1200 just to be secure. Good luck and don't base your fraternity option on this website cause everyone hates is everyone

Don't even trip, dog. The people who spend extra hundreds and thousands are the same people who would spend that money outside of pledging. You'll probably need to buy some new clothes and occasionally get random crap but if you're smart with your money you won't even notice it
