The top five are the top five and if you are into rankings then you should join a top five. Other wise here this is the rankings.

Although this ranking is how the Greek community views these houses, it doesn't mean you'll find your personal best home in the "top."
Go through recuirment and be honest with yourself on who you see yourself surrounded by. You can bask in the post bid day glory of flaunting your prestigious letters- but you'll end up in second semester disappointed that you have no friends in your house. It's the sad, honest truth.
These bids aren't automatic friendships... You still connect with girls you're similar too and work at the friendships. Even picking the best house for you, you'll still find girls out of the 200 that you don't get along with. Imagine picking a house you don't belong in... You'll be with a full 200 girls you don't like.
The special thing about Greek life is you're bound to your sisters for life, do a ton of fun things together, and get a home away from home. Just make sure you picked your home and sisters for the right reasons. You'll end up 1000x happier in the long run.

This is is finally a more accurate "ranking" of the sororities. Honestly if you're in it just to flaunt your letters, the you're wasting your time and money. Greek life is more then just being able to say that your house is the best house, or most popular house, or whatever.
There tier system is broken, superficial, and subjective. No house is better or worse than the other, they are all just different from one another. I would put my house as top, obviously because I picked it, while many other girls may put it somewhere else on there list.
Go through with recruitment with an open mind and you'll find the home for you!

Omg yes! I CANNOT understand why people say they are top , other than they are the ones saying it.

Side note however- girls DO find their spot in "top" houses too. Just throwing it out there that those houses are also full of great women of not only beauty, but service and intellect as well as awesome sisterhood. The "top" houses at ASU are highly regarded nationally as well for those qualities. This does not mean that you personally not fitting in makes you any lesser though. Again, be honest with yourself.
