They will last this fall, in the spring they will start deteriorating and by next year at this time they will be irrelevant. There has never been a fraternity that has lasted longer than that just saying.

The life spand for the off campus fraternities is usually 2 to 3 years (it will depend on the fraternity itself) as they will soon begin to decline and go out of existence. Of campus fraternities DO NOT have the same benefits as the freaternities recognized by the University, even thought, their IHQ may recognize them, it will only be a matter of time before they (IHQ) lose hope in them and quickly close them for good.

if they can keep their charters, they will last. They probably also need to have plexes indefinitely to compensate for being off campus, so Sigma Chi needs to get on that. For the ones without charters (alpha theta chi) it will be a tougher road, but doable.
