To cut it short and blunt. I hate the fraternity I am initiated into. Thought that after pledging I would come to like the guys but never happened. I want to leave and Rush someone else. I know this is frowned upon but by how much?

Were you initiated into an on campus fraternity (recognized by IFC /University) or an off campus fraternity. There is a big difference.

alpha sig (old dsigs), kappa sig (old psks), dke (old sig pis), alpha delt (old sig nus) have a history of initiating guys who were initiated in other frats. Obviously its against national policy, but some chapters may look the other way.

Kappa Sig has been on campus for 51 years before PSK was a thing. Only took a few PSK's and they are all gone now
Alpha Sig only had a few Delta Sigs they are all gone now. Most of the guys are new recruits.

DKE AND ALPHA DELT well they are old houses.

My point was these fraternities have a track record of being willing you initiate men who had been in other organizations, not that they are made up entirely of them
