theta

I'm transferring to ASU in the spring and am already a theta at my own school. Here we're mid tier towards the bottom. I was wondering what theta at ASU was like and would I still be considered a sister when I transfer?

Theta here is top tier. You'd have to look at your national policies. Every sorority is different

Every sorority has a different way of handling this, but for the most part it's meeting with some sisters and I believe the chapter votes on you or not. I would mostly be worried about if your GPA isn't the best because Theta has more strict GPA requirements than other sororities on campus. Hopefully you were active in your chapter and have qualities to bring/show because it will help you out a lot!

I have a solid GPA but I wasn't that active in my own chapter.... And I don't know if looks matters at all but I'm a bit "bigger" also. Would I be a good fit?

It would have helped if you held a position in your chapter or were really involved but maybe if you express a lot of interest in it it would help. Is there any things you can really get involved in before you transfer? I don't want to really talk about the looks/superficial side, but KAO at ASU is considered by many to be a top house in the looks department, so maybe just see the vibe you get when speaking to your sisters here.
