by: DisappointedI am an incoming Freshman and have always wanted to be apart of a college sorority. Can someone tell me if all houses really despise one another as much as this site states? If that is the case than "No Thank You"! I thought once you were in college you left your "high school" days behind. How disappointing to say the least!

This website is a troll's delight. Many of the people that come on here aren't even Greek, they just come on here to talk smack. So NO, the rivalries aren't that bad. However, this is ASU - this isn't a school that is known for its grace and class. You will get a rogue crowd here.

It's extremely disappointing to see on here. However I joined Greek Life (specifically a sorority) to be in a group of women who empower and inspire each other. I have found that in my house and encourage you to at least give it a try. Take this website with a grain of salt. Anybody who feels the need to rank women based on their looks or weight probably is not worth listening to in any regard.

Don't take this site seriously. It's only catty if you are catty or if you hang out with catty people. There's catty people in and out of greek life. Being greek has nothing to do with it. Go through recruitment and try it out. If you don't like what you see then don't join, but don't take this site at face value at all.

In response to the original question. Most women in the sororities are friends with women in other sororities. This web site is full of inaccurate information on every chapter. Every sorority has a different vibe to it but they all do the same things socially. Some have more programming then others but they all do philos, socials ect. I would not pay attention to the rankings on this site or the nastiness. If you don't want to be in high school again I would join a sorority that doesn't have a bunch of girls from your high school in it. Go through recruitment, keep an open mind and you will find a sisterhood that you like. That is what matters. It doesn't matter what I think or anyone else on this site things about chapters. It matters what you think. I hope you decide to go through recruitment. It is so much fun no matter where you land.
