theta chi.

So I am going to rush in fall, from New York, play lacrosse and lettered all four years, and was all region wrestler, so sports are huge in what fraternity I am joining. I also like to have a good time, good social fraternity, with a wide variety of guys from across the country.
With that being said, Sig Ep and Theta chi are my top two fraternities that I am rushing in the fall. At first I was worried about Theta Chi not being on campus because of the talk on this website but I checked with nationals/called ASU and they are on campus for the fall. They are just kicking out members that do not meet the requirements nationals made and ASU gave them.
Sig Ep seems more california and arizona kids in it? But they are sick at sports, and have great sorority relations. Do they rage hard? Heard they rage hard but not as hard as Theta Chi and Sig Chi? I know they also have a great GPA.
Frats I would have considered if they were better at sports basically only DKE. The rest do not sound appealing at all. lol

Theta Chi is a lot of east coast kids and really good at sports plus rages. Two kids from my prep school are in Theta Chi. I am also from New York. Theta Chis is great but not for everyone extremely rowdy, huge on sports, not gpa, and parties all the time. Like high school jock kids. Sig Ep is that too but more cali bros. I know a bunch of sig eps and they are super chill. Do not really dress fratty at all and more of the laid back pot head type of guys, not the in your face ragers. But Sig Ep is extremely good at sports as well and gets a ton of babes to come around their complex.

From a girl i would say tons of steriod dudes in theta chi and a lot of skinny skater looking kids in sig ep, you take your pick lol... a lot of hot guys in both, i would say theta chi has more but they are a lot more aggresive and just full of themselves.. that could be the east coast thing but i love going to sig eps plex more cause of how nice and gentlmen the guys are.

Lambda is the barrett kids that were well rounded athletes in high school but not the elite. I mean that not in respect I have a lot of boys in Lambda, it is that when you get elite grades you usually do not recruit the best athlets hence college sports etc... Theta Chi is not known at all for grades, do not get me wrong they have some very intelligent kids but that is not what they are known for. They are known for partying and raging just like Sig Chi, TKE, and SAE. Lambda Chi has good sports mixed with great grades. It attracts a different type of guy. Theta Chis are the type of guys always at the gym, intramural sports mean a lot( too much in my opinion), and care about girls/raging all the time. Lambda Chi is about grades then sports/raging. Both are great though Sig Ep or Theta Chi to each is own.

I second that, finally someone who comes on here and just shows a little respect to some quality houses and a quality post by that kid. Good response, each fraternity attracts a certain type of member, Sig Ep and Theta Chi are very similar as Lambda Chi as well. It is were you fit in, I have been to Mill countless times and seen Lambda Chi hanging with Theta Chis and Sig Eps. Its only on this site were people are always talking crap about each other for no reason. DKE get bashed on daily, and they are a solid house, Theta Chi/TKE/SIG Chi gets gashed and are decent houses. Sig Ep bashed on for people saying they self rank its all just dumb. Answer the questions like the guy a few post above me and help these rushees out.
On to your question, Theta Chi gym/rage/pull/gpa is low, Sig Ep higher GPA/Cali-arizona kids/rage/great sorority relations. Both are great options for you.

No fraternities after this next year will have complexes, Theta Chi will not be on probation because of elimnating the members who were the problems. The guys they have running it seem solid from who I have spoke with at the IFC meetings. Sig Ep is on probation as well but gave up their plex and bought a bunch of satellite houses to avoid conflicts with ASU. Both these frats are great, and good at sports like you stated above you want. Choose whatever fraternity you feel is best for your growth in college and also like you said''sports''. Greek sports is huge at ASU and both of those frats excel in almost every sport. Good options and goodluck.

Raged with both of these frats in Cabo it was a good time, squid row they were unreal the Theta Chis and the Sig eps go hard too both are good options for you kid.
