sorority recruitment question

by:

If you joined a sorority at ASU and realize it is not for you, can you drop the current one and pledge a new one? Are there rules for this? waiting time?

If you have already been initiated to that NPC sorority then no you cannot drop and pledge another one. You can join a service or academic sorority, but can no longer be in any other NPC sorority. If you haven't been initiated yet you can drop but can't go through recruitment for an entire calendar year.

If you aren't in a NPC sorority then I'm not exactly sure how it goes, but I don't think the others have restrictions on dropping and joining another one.

Dropping is a pretty big commitment. Are you sure it's the right thing to do? Have you talked to your new member educator/pledge mom about it?
