selection bids

On a scale from 1-10 being the most selective. how selective with bids are the mid/top tier fraternities?

Theta Chi:
Lambda:
DKE:
FIJI:

1) Lambda is by far the most selective, because they usually have the highest # of rushees (200+ this spring) and are very selective about their bids. Usually a fraternity gives a bid if they like you and then filters the men through pledging. Since lambda doesn't have a true pledge process and can't filter kids out through hazing, they're EXTREMELY selective.

2) Sig Ep . Another top tier house. You gotta be decently looking, athletic, and down to rage or atleast be okay to be surrounded by it. They give out a decent # of bids and filter through a pretty tough pledging. Not as demanding as DKE's pledge process, but they pledge a few weeks longer than the other houses

3) DKE. Decently selective, they'll give you a bid if you're chill. Then they filter out through arguably the hardest pledge process (they haze pretty hard) on campus

4) Theta Chi. They give out ALOT of bids, but also always end up dropping more than half their pledges. Also a somewhat tough pledging process

5) FIJI / Alpha Sig. Not really selective. These houses need kids, they're by no means a top tier house. If you're cool you'll get a bid

Also about an 8.5 but this is going off last semester, they didn't do a formal spring rush. They also haze pretty dam hard. It's between them or DKE for the worst pledge process

Only the top tier fraternities haze hard, besides of course lambda (they don't haze)

DKE is full of skinny kids with long hair. No way they have hard lineups. Must just be ghey stuff and alcohol hazing then.

i honestly don't think so the elephant walk is beyond wrong in so many ways and don't think anyone could get away with that without getting in serious trouble. But i have heard the rumors so its not impossible..

Theta Chi is not selective at all. They bided over 60 kids last fall lol what a joke.
