Parties for people 21 and under

I’m 18 and I went to visit ASU Thursday night and couldn’t get in anywhere. I was told having a fake ID could also get you arrested. Apparently Auro is the only place I could’ve gotten into but they were closed. Do any of you have any recommendations for what do to for parties and if your under 21 and am I missing out on most things if I’m not 21 here?
