top tier

What defines a top tier house?

I feel like without a complex, it's impossible to be "top tier" so in that case what is it that makes lambda and dke so special ?

DKE has always been good since the fall of greek row and as more good frats continued to get kicked off they continued to improve in all aspects. Lambda is now being considered a top house because they're now the most selective house to get in and also have some of the best ragers

Of course DKE has improved since the fall of the row, they were a 12 person fraternity before absorbing the leftover Sigma Pi guys. Doesn't mean they're top tier though

DKE and Lambda Chi have no complexes, DKE tries too hard, Lambda Chi has no pledge process, Theta Chi has a bad retention rate for actives, and not enough girls like Fiji. If Sigma Chi is gone it doesn't change any of that. At another school people would realize when they're middle tier (I know my fraternity is) and stop trying to call themselves top

i believe they had one this semester and it was broken up by the police. and they are definitely not most selective -- anyone in a real greek organization knows what i mean

Lambda as most selective in what aspect becauase you take nerds that have high GPA? Like come on... DKE blows Lambda otu of the water cause they are not all dweebs.

Look at any other house listed besides Lambda and learn what ''raging is''. Throwing off campus ragers at some house in Scottsdale that takes 30 minutes to get there is not raging. Lambda is a solid house but no where near raging. Look at the kids they get.. dorks with money...
