chi phi at asu

So we now have Chi Phi here at ASU. They have 32 founding gentlemen For some reason a mean-sprited person is already slagging on them, before they even get started. Anyone who meets these gentleman would never feel the need to say anything but good things. I will say that I have met about eight of them and they were complete gentlemen. They were helpful, well mannered and really kind guys. Let's support them as they get started here! Welcome Chi Phi. You are a class act of gentleman and we are happy to have you here.

I have this theory that ASU is letting fraternities like Pike and Chi Phi on campus so that they can kick off every real fraternity and replace them with social clubs. It gives them the appearance of supporting Greek life while actually completely undermining its integrity, since nationals usually does the recruiting and will take anyone with a pulse to boost their numbers

They've been repeatedly called out for hating Greek life, but they don't want ASU to be a party school. If they let fraternities like Chi Phi on, they'll get fraternities who don't have pledging, don't throw good parties, aren't selective, and have no tradition. No risk of bad headlines if everyone is bottom tier

ASU will always be a party school. If they get rid of The "Party" Fraternities then PIKE and Chi Phi will become the party houses. It is what it is. I say lets embrace them.
