It's only $1200 for the first semester. After that, it's $600-700 a semester.

Theta is cheaper because we have been on campus for a long time and we don't have mortgage payments.

Yep! Theta dues range from 400-500 and are all inclusive, meaning you don't pay out of pocket for anything besides extra shirts.

First of all they all include different things. Some include everything including their pin and some just the basics and you pay out of pocket for any extras. In the end, they all cost about the same give or take $100.

Agree with the comment above. If you are picking a sorority by cost, don't bother because some of these fees include everything: pin, dances, t-shirts, etc. and some do not. They all end up being within a hundred or two of each other. First semester as a new member is significantly more.

And mortgages have nothing to do with the equation. If you live in Adelphi, you pay the university directly since they own the facility. I doubt the $400 for Theta is for new members. That first semester is usually significantly more. If you contact Panhellenic, they should be able to get you that information from the Chapters directly.
