Agree with the comment above. If you are picking a sorority by cost, don't bother because some of these fees include everything: pin, dances, t-shirts, etc. and some do not. They all end up being within a hundred or two of each other. First semester as a new member is significantly more.

And mortgages have nothing to do with the equation. If you live in Adelphi, you pay the university directly since they own the facility. I doubt the $400 for Theta is for new members. That first semester is usually significantly more. If you contact Panhellenic, they should be able to get you that information from the Chapters directly.

It's only $1200 for the first semester. After that, it's $600-700 a semester.
