Nothing wrong with dropping out of rush/bid day
by: News flash
If you don’t like the sorority at bid day, drop. There is nothing wrong with that and don’t feel guilty. You shouldn’t be guilted into joining a sorority where you don’t feel you fit in. You are paying money and devoting your time to Greek life. If it doesn’t feel right, don’t go through with it.
The process doesn’t work for all so don’t believe that bs.

good point. It works for most, but not all. my advice is to give it a chance, though. you have until initiation to decide. i had my heart set on one chapter and ended up in another. almost dropped on bid day. sooooo glad i didn’t. met my bffs and can’t imagine doing life without them!

Here’s the thing though. Sad but true. A popular hot cheerleader will always expect to get into a DZ or Aphi. Those are the girls they’re used to hanging out with. That’s just how it is. So to them, it doesn’t matter how accepting and nice that lower ranked sorority is. That’s not their crowd.
So don’t get butt hurt if they don’t want to be in your sorority. Some girls just have certain expectations. And it is just like high school. All you have to do is look at the sororities Instagrams.
