Okay here’s the deal. Tour guides say that because it’s a bad look on the school if they just call it a party school. Parents don’t want to hear that.

But also there’s some truth to what the tour guides said. College is what you make of it. You can find parties at Ivy League schools and random small liberal arts schools too. Or you can go to ASU and not party at all. It really is what you make of it. But that being said, ASU has a thriving greek system and plenty of parties to be found. Tempe is one of the youngest cities in the country and has a popping bar scene on Mill avenue, along with Old Town Scottsdale nearby. The party scene is pretty good compared to most schools, but maybe not the best out of every school. There’s lots of other party schools too.

If you’re a girl, parties will be really easy to find and get into. If you’re a guy, you should probably join a frat if you want to party a lot. If you’re not in a frat then it’ll be harder to find parties unless you have high social status, and even then you’ll be limited to small apartment parties.
