House tiers will only matter if that’s the only thing interesting about you.

So true!!!!!! Every house is a "good house" if you find friends there.

how come the top tier/top-mid houses generally do more things, look better while doing it, have more fun, act super exclusive, and make others jealous?

Don’t they all pretty much do the same stuff? Every frat is capable of throwing parties, having Vegas formals, doing philos with sororities. Every sorority is capable of going to frat parties, doing philos with frats, and having fun. Each has a different way of having fun, it just depends on what your idea of fun is.

It’s pretty much all the same when it comes down to it. Tiers don’t matter like we said

@Brad and Chad...
I would love to live in a world where tiers don't matter, but they do. This is coming from a girl in a bottom house.... hahahah they matter :/

My experience really isn't as fun or glitzy as girls in top or even middle houses.. soo yeah. I'm tired of people sounding disappointed or uninterested after I tell them what sorority I'm in, like I somehow became less cool all of a sudden.

If you have any advice on how to make it better, or how to get others in greek life to be more accepting and inviting of my chapter, please let me know.

Just remember why you going a sorority in the first place: to make friends. Everything else shouldn’t matter. As long as you’ve made friends within your chapter, you’re already better off.

Then quit your house then. If I was in that house, I wouldn’t want anyone with your insecure attitude. I’m sure they wouldn’t even want you if they knew that’s what you really thought of them.

No need to be rude. It's not my fault that people in greek life stereotype us that way. Sorry I have feelings about my experience. I'm sure there are things in your life you have an insecure attitude about. Try being in my sorority for a year and a half, then come talk to me, thanks :)
