Stop throwing this diversity issue out there with sororities. Just trying to find an excuse to bring them down. The top 3 did really well period.

@Lol I’m sorry but diversity is really important for sororities (which historically cater toward white, upperclass women) ESPECIALLY now. Things like legacy status have continuously barred people of color from joining. It’s hypocritical for these organizations to preach all summer to PNMs who are POC that they stand with them and strive for diversity then only extend bids to girls who fit their “type” which, yes, tends to be white. I never said anything about the top three being bad organizations, I was literally just pointing out the obvious which is that APhi didn’t even try to diversify this year or even try and create a space for PNMs that historically have NEVER seen people who look like them in sororities like Alpha Phi. It’s a fact.

So if the top 3 sororities had more diversity, you would complain they did it for show. Yes diversity is very important but let’s get real here. It’s ASU.
But yes, most university sororities lack diversity. It’s not just ASU. Hopefully, it will get better.

yes, i agree the top sororities aren’t very diverse but at the same time, there aren’t many women of color that go through recruitment. keep that in mind.

I love how Aphi is criticized for diversity when ASU greeklife is really not that diverse in the first place. Stop blaming one sorority for that.

AXO did fine. Definitely more diverse than Aphi, DZ, and Pi Phi this year. But not in the same category as the above though. Not to be mean.

I like that AXO always gets a diverse group of girls and in 2020 they should be on top because they’d rather have diversity than each girl looking the same
