Disappointed PNMs Please Read

So true. On bid day I got back a “bottom” house. I didn’t really like most of the girls I talked to in there. Now I couldn’t be happier. It takes time to find your people in every sorority. If you don’t give them a chance you will regret it!!!!

i was absolutely devastated on bid day. i sobbed in the bathroom. a year later i can't imagine myself anywhere else. if you got a bid that chapter saw something special in you! there are girls there that loved you and want you! the new member period is long. you have a lot of time to leave if you decide it really isn't for you. but give it a chance!

SAME. I got back what I thought was a bottom/mid house. Hated it my first semester. Lived in the house last year. Now I couldn’t see myself anywhere else. You really only met a handful of girls during recruitment. Give it a try! Most girls love their sorority. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

i was a legacy to the house i got dropped during pref. i cried. now, i’m so glad i didn’t end up in the other house. you are exactly where you are meant to be! the new member period can be hard, but once you are a member it is SO worth it. take the chance ❤️❤️❤️

and the only reason most pnms would be disappointed is because of the garbage they read on this site. stop visiting it, stop poring over the highly curated ig content, and make some real-life friends!pan love
