Bid day pairing

When I was submitting my bids today the guy said that if both chapters wanted to offer me a bid, I wouldn’t necessarily get my first preference. Any one know what this means or why cause idk it seems weird?

that doesn't sound right. if you're above quota on the list (i.e. they can take 70 and you're #62) for both sororities you should get the one that you put first.
