Best advice to PNMs

hopefully you've heard it before, but i'm gonna give you the best advice on recruitment. first, stay off this site. it is a toxic dumpster fire! second, "ratings" (other than gpa) are completely subjective and arbitrary. there are a handful of people that frequent gr, and they are constantly building their houses up and tearing down percieved threats. some of the nicest, prettiest, and most popular girls are in the so-called "bottom" houses. most of the time, they don't bother to respond to comments here because tbh, it's pointless. third, no one in greek life cares what letters you wear. guys don't even care if you wear letters. girls have always been allowed at parties whether or not they are in a srat. (of course, there may not be any parties this semester) fourth, you want to end up somewhere that feels like a natural fit, not somewhere where you will always feel like you're faking it or have to change your hair, nails, personality or values to fit in. fifth, regardless of where you land, you will find girls that you don't like, but hopefully more that you fall in love with and become your best friends. greek life doesn't have to be the entirety of your asu experience. hopefully it helps make a big student body a little smaller and allows you to round out your experience--with social, academic, and leadership opportunities. continued good luck to all the pnms!
